has worked in IT roles since 1988 and with the SAP Software product since version R/3 2.0/2.1 in early 90’s.

John, a University of Kansas graduate holds a Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering. Working as a senior programmer analyst, John had an opportunity to work on an implementation project of SAP R/3 release 2.1. He joined SAP America in 1995 as a Tools and Technology Consultant and Technical Trainer in the Foster City, California office. While at SAP America, John authored the first versions of the SAP Authorizations and Concepts course (CA940) and the ABAP Standards and Practices guide. He contributed to the made-easy guides and the development of the ABAP programming courseware.In 1999, John moved into the private sector forming his own company, VERBESTEL LLC. Under Verbestel, John actively consults and teaches in the SAP software space specializing in all technical aspects of SAP.  His client list is extensive and includes companies in varied industries, such as high tech, service, pharmaceuticals, bio-technology, retail and aerospace.

John’s expertise includes ABAP development including OO, UX Design both leading edge and classical,  SAP technical administration and monitoring for onprem, public and private cloud. He is a certified technical instructor and for SAP North America and teaches over 30 different courses from the SAP Education Catalog.

Currently, John is leading several teams along with providing guidance to our active customers: John Verbestel – Linked In Profile.  Verbestel LLC has developed project tracking solutions focused on SAP Technical Implementation and Rollout presenting detailed analysis for team refinement, business value to task alignment, project projection and budgeting.  This allows small, focused team to weed through the complexities of multiple competing projects in complex environments and deliver to promise.
